  Studio Developer Training
Posted by: Darius Panahy - 2018-05-07, 10:00 AM - Forum: IET News and Announcements - No Replies

7 May 2019

Educagen are a company that provide specialised training in CA Gen, especially for new developers. They have recently updated their course material to offer training in Studio Developer, IET's new development environment for CA Gen that is based on Eclipse.
The first course was run for a customer in April with very positive feedback:

“We used Educagen to train a new developer in CA Gen. During the training a mix of the CA Gen toolset and Studio Developer was used. The developer preferred the Studio Developer interface. She thought it much more intuitive and a lot quicker while coding. The user interface in Studio Developer makes a lot more sense and is easier to understand, especially for a new developer used to modern development tools. Because of this we think the learning curve for a new developer to become productive is a lot shorter when using Studio Developer.”

  GuardIEn WebCR Option
Posted by: Darius Panahy - 2014-05-02, 10:00 AM - Forum: IET News and Announcements - No Replies

2 May 2014

The recent launch of GuardIEn Release 8.5 Service Pack 2 introduced a new release of our WebCR interface for GuardIEn.

The new release of WebCR has been developed with Rapide, and it provides a great way of accessing GuardIEn Change Request and Release Pack information from any browser without having to install the GuardIEn clients.

Previous versions of WebCR have required a separate licence. However we would like to encourage you to experience the great UIs that can be built with Rapide, and have therefore decided to include WebCR as a no-charge option for existing GuardIEn users.

Installing WebCR is also easy. You can either install it with a built-in simple application server or deploy it into your own application server.
To get started with WebCR, download the installation guide and the software from the IET support centre.
